Dilmah Real High Tea Online Competition Conditions of Entry May 2015 – June 2015

Promoter
Ceylon Tea Services PLC, No 111, Negombo Road Peliyagoda, Sri Lanka.

Eligibility
Dilmah Real High Tea online competition is open to all nationals from the specified countries aged 18 or over.
Directors, officers, management and employees (and the immediate families of Directors, Officers, Management and Employees) of the Promoter, or of the Agencies or Companies associated with this competition are not allowed to enter this competition.

Competition Period
The competition will be conducted during the Competition Period only – which is from 21st May 2015 to 20th June 2015.

Deadline for Entries
Midnight 20th June 2015

Entry Method
During the Competition period all entries must be made via http://realhighteaathome.com/teainspiredme
During the Competition Period, entrants must:
a. Visit the web page at http://realhighteaathome.com/teainspiredme
b. Locate the entry button for the Real High Tea Online competition and follow the prompts to upload your photo/s, video/s, audio/s and text/s entries.
c. The entrants may submit any number of photos, videos, audios and texts created/ taken by them under any selected theme as the entrant wish prior to the deadline, provided final eligibility is based only on one single entry.
d. The said entries should be able to meet acceptable standards of morality and decency.
e. The promoter has the sole discretion to determine whether the relevant entries meet with the necessary requirements.

Prize Details

One (1) country level winner will be selected per country – from the countries mentioned in section A-1 below;

The country level winners (countries mentioned in section A-1) will be entitled to an all expenses paid 1 night hotel package for two people (including the winner) at a 4 star hotel stipulated by the promoter within the entrant’s country of residence.
One (1) global winner will be selected from all eligible entries to the competition website.
The selected global winner (1) will be entitled to an all expenses paid 10 day trip to Sri Lanka for two (2) persons including the selected winner. This trip will include the items mentioned in section A-2 below;

The trip to Sri Lanka will be scheduled from 1st July 2015 to 10th July 2015.
Ten days (10) will be scheduled as per the itinerary planned by the organizers which will cover places of interest within Sri Lanka.
The trip would include return airfare from the country of origin by economy class travel on an airline stipulated by the promoter.
The accommodation will be on a Double room basis and would include three meals.
Any extras such as telephone calls, alcohol beverage and/ or any other extras ordered by the winner at the place of accommodation will not be included. The winner will have to personally bear such costs and /or charges for any such extra charges.
Travel insurances is not included as part of the package and will therefore be the responsibility of the winner.
If any one of the national/country level winners get selected as the global winner, he/she will only be eligible for the global winner prize.
The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the winner being unable to redeem prize due to the personal reasons of the winner and the trip to Sri Lanka must be taken during the period which commences from 1st of July to 10th of July 2015.
The travel prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
The global winner (1) and the country level winners (1 per country as mentioned in section A-1) will also receive a Dilmah Tea hamper, the contents of which are at the discretion of the promoter.
Winner Announcement will be made during the last week of June 2015 and will be published on the competition website and on Dilmah’s Facebook page. By submitting an entry, the entrant hereby agrees to participate in any publicity related to the Competition. Winners in the Competition agree that their identity may be disclosed in winner announcements and promotional material. The winners also agree to have his/her submission to the competition website (in form of photo, video, audio or text files) used for publicity purposes without any additional payment being made.

Winner Publication
Winners will be notified using the contact details provided with their entries within three days (3) of the announcement on the above mentioned competition website and on Dilmah’s Facebook page. If after five days (5) a winner cannot be contacted, the prize will be given to the runner up.

Terms and Conditions
Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. By entering, entrants accept these conditions including the terms and conditions setout herein.

Twitter and Facebook Entries must be received during the Competition Period. By entering this contest you agree to release Facebook/Twitter of any liability or obligation related to the entry and you acknowledge the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook/Twitter. Promotions may be administered on Pages or within apps on Facebook. The Promoter is not liable for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence due to error, omission, tampering, deletion, theft, communications failure or other causes whatsoever. The Promoter has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or other causes beyond its control. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred. Entrants who enter using multiple aliases may be disqualified. Entrants are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the Internet and participating in this competition. Automatically generated entries will not be accepted.
Judging This is a competition where winners will be chosen by a judging panel appointed and nominated by the Promoters. All decisions of the judging panel are final and no correspondence will be entered into on their decisions. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each valid entry will be individually judged based on individuality and creativity among other things.
Photo, video, audio and text entry Copyright: In submitting an entry, the entrant declares that they have taken the photo, video, audio or text file on their own and have sole and complete intellectual property rights to the photo, video, audio or text file. The entrant will indemnify the Promoter against any claim, loss or costs incurred by the Promoter where a third party claims ownership of the rights to a photo, video, audio or text file. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of photo, video, audio or text file ownership. Entrants retain copyrights to their images, videos, audios or text files and agree that material submitted may be used in whole or in part by Dilmah and its sponsors for promotion or acknowledgment of the competition and/or exhibition. Entrants agree submitted material may be cropped for editorial and layout purposes and that such altered images, videos, audio and text may be credited to them.
Photo, video, audio and text file requirements: Submitted photo, video, audio or text files should not have been previously published or have won a prize in any other competition (image, video, audio or text sharing websites and personal blogs are acceptable). All entries must be submitted without watermarks.
Image files should be in JPG or PNG format. Only 2000px high/wide maximum. File size should not exceed 40Mb (i.e. 40000Kb)
Video file should be in .mp4, .mov, or .wmv. File size should not exceed 250Mb. (I.e. 250000Kb). Video should be less than 2 mins.
Audio file should be in mp3 or wma. File size should not exceed 40Mb.
Text File should be in .doc, .docx or .pdf. File size should not exceed 7MB.
Any entry that exceed our maximum file size or contain a format other than the file format we have mentioned above will automatically be rejected by our system. File naming: Please name your entries “ firstname-lastname.fileformat” to avoid confusion and for easy location of the same , e.g.if the entry is an image then file name will be jane-smith.jpg. If you enter more than one photograph number them as well e.g. jane-smith-1.jpg. You must keep a print quality high-res version (at least 30cm longest edge at 300dpi) of your submitted image on hand should it be selected as a winner and require printing.

Photo, video, audio and text entry Usage: By submitting a photo, video, audio, text entries , the entrant agrees to allow the Promoter permission to use these entries for the purposes of promoting Dilmah or the Competition for a period of 1 year (12 months) with due credit to the participant. The entrant also agrees to allow the Promoter to use their photo, video, audio or text for printed collateral, online, in store and across other marketing mediums, at Promoter’s sole discretion and without any additional payment being made to the entrants.
Talent: By submitting the entry, the entrant declares that they have the permission of all individual(s) captured in photo(s), videos, texts or audios to share and publish their image. You fully indemnify Ceylon Tea Services PLC and its sponsors against any claims arising from third parties in the event that your submitted image, video, text or audio file infringes intellectual, property or model rights if published by Dilmah and its sponsors for promotion or acknowledgment of the competition and/or exhibition.
The Promoter may (but is not obliged to) determine at any time, in its absolute discretion, whether or not to publish any entries on the Website and/or Facebook Page, remove any entries once published on the Website and/or Facebook Page, or amend, edit or modify any entries (or any part thereof), or disqualify or invalidate any entry including (without limitation) if the Promoter is of the view that:
The entry does not comply with paragraph 3 in the above said terms and conditions –Photo, video, audio or text file copyright; or
The entry otherwise breaches these conditions of entry.
The Promoter will have no liability to entrants if it exercises this right.
The best valid entries, as determined by the judges, will win the prizes.
The prize is as stated in the Prize Details and includes

The Promoter may require winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion.
Entries not fully complying with these conditions of entry may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry including if the winner is unable to take the prize the entry will be discarded and the prize will be awarded to the entrant who submitted the next best valid entry.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). Nothing in these conditions restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law.
Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage, loss or delay in transit to prizes.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter or Facebook. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Twitter or Facebook. Each entrant completely releases Twitter or Facebook from any and all liability.
If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries.
The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where this competition involves, for VAT purposes, supplies being made for nonmonetary consideration, entrants will follow the Inland Revenue Department’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal VAT inclusive market values.
All entries will be the property of the Promoter. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this competition or communicating with entrants. By entering this competition, entrants consent to the storage of their personal information on the Promoter’s database and the Promoter may use this information for future competition and marketing purposes regarding its products, including contacting the entrant via electronic messaging. By entering this competition, entrants consent to receiving email messages from the Promoter that do not contain any functional unsubscribe facility. Entrants can request access to the personal information the Promoter holds about them by contacting the Promoter at their address stated in the Promoter section of these conditions.
Winners: Winners will be selected during last week of June 2015 and each winner will contacted for the high resolution originals. If they cannot be contacted during this period via the contact details supplied on entry, another winner will be selected.
Non-compliance with competition criteria will disqualify the entry.
